I'm Sarah, the overly proud wife of a somewhat crazy man who decided to join the Army when he was 38 (Bloody_Limey). I'm sort of a long-time listener, first-time caller as I've been reading on these forums since we found out that my husband even had the opportunity to go to RASP. I'm a SAHM and currently a full-time online student. We have three kids who are all about to have birthdays and will be 13, 7 and 5.

I'm somewhat relieved to have my husband stationed at Ft. Lewis. Though it was good that we could be out of his hair so he could focus on making it through RASP, as well as the extensive training and studying that followed, it's tough without him around. I do kinda like him, afterall. We've managed to swing a few extra days together this year since he's PCSed though with a few more days of leave coming in October!

I thought I'd finally post on here in hopes that I might be able to connect with another wife. After more than two years we've yet to live on or near base so I'm up for some virtual company :D Though I did read that the wives forum was closed, I'll live in hope!
