I think mine would be a Cold Steel tanto, not sure what it's called but it's got a special coating on the blade to make it super hard and hold an edge.

Compared to regular Cold Steel knives these are about 600.00 to 800.00 dollars, depending on blade length.

Haven't seen them for about 5 yrs or so, but I still remember holding it at the store, man, she was beautiful. 8)
That's what it was, San Mai Tanto, those are sweet. Last time I saw one was about 5 yrs ago and they were hundreds of dollars, depending on the blade length, up to close to a thousand.

I have a few favorites: I havn't seen one of my favorites posted here thats the Tom Brown Tracker or T2. I prefer the larger size of the T1. I don't really like the handle design but the blade is fantastic imho.

I also am still very much in love with my Ka-Bar made by Camillus, and my newer Ka-Bar made by Ka-bar.
Just for clarrity I do own 3 models of the SOG Seal knives, which ive never been impressed with the handles or the blades. But they are extremely nice knives over all. I have been considering replacing the handles with 550 para chord. Which ive done on previous knives and it worked out quite well.

I am currently in Iraq and carry the following blades

SOG Super Bowie (closest to a Randal that is sacrificial at-Jordanian/Kuwaiti/Iraqi customs)
Benchmade Predidio Auto
Leatherman Charge with all of the tool bits and shit.
Small benchmade auto in my flight suit.

I am looking for a Victorinox "Ranger" model with black handles.
Please PM me if you find one.

Love,

Doc Cook

Well I'll be damned, guess GRITS is looking out for me after all.

For Valentines day I received a Gerber MKII, no shit.

Had almost forgotten just how much I liked my old one! :D

With a big fuckin' lobster, beer, wine, salad, Corn on the cob the size of my forearm. Some big tittied/small waist chick to eat it with me. A jacuzzi, a California King sized bed. A real shower, my 1911, my Randal knife, some normal clothes, a feather bed, my truck, my bull dog and no fucking worries or bull shit - all at least for one weekend.

That ain't too much to ask for... Is it?

-Maybe Majic Man can help me out with this in Thailand come April- If I don't get fired first......

Sorry Bro, never heard of him. Try googling his name under knifemaker or something?

He is a MFF instructor at YPG now. I'll see if I can get some contact info for you. I got one of his knives when I went through RS. Carried it on my vest until I ETS'd.
