Cheney certified the 173rd jump as a Combat jump just recently. They will get a star.

To dispense of any rumors, 3/75 is the only battalion to have any combat jumps since 9/11. 2 in afghanistan, 1 was a company plus jump with a battalion C2 element, and the other was only a platoon. In Iraq there were also 2 jumps. Both were company plus with a Bn C2 element. In Iraq one jump was the first combat ramp blast and the other was the first C-17 heavy drop into combat. And yes, there are jump stars for all.

You dumbass, H2 was cleared by an 12 man team from a unit that wishes to remain nameless. Don't talk about shit you don't know anything about.
