Its on again today.

I thought the show was pretty damn cool. I was surprised at the lack of blacked out/obscured faces (as were some folks on another board) for PERSEC issues.

I've got it recorded on the DVR. If I can figure out a way to get it off the ReplayTV to my PC, I could burn it to DVD.

There were some mistakes as far as labelling what the students were (i.e. Rangers) as far as I can tell.

From all the promo stuff, it appears to be the first time the course has been covered for the purposes of airing it on TV.

Some of the freefall camera work by the instructors is just fucking sweet.

Yeah I saw it this weekend, it was pretty good. I always wished I coulda got a chance to go to HALO school. Thing of it is they didn't play up which branch of the service anyone was from, which I believe was done on purpose "because" of the PERSEC issues involved.

But its a good show on the school no doubt about it, even the danger of it all because someone has a total malfunction and doesn't make it during the show.

The guy that dies was an instructor with the Advanced Course during a night jump from what I remember.

If memory serves me, the instructor that was talking about the incident was one of the Spc4 mafia when I was a cherry. Went to a Lrs unti, and ten yrs later I see him on TV. Pretty cool.
