INTRO: Bama_Ranger

Post by Bama_Ranger »

I served in 2/75 ("old scroll" days) and was one of the original NCOs in 3/75; did a couple of hitches as an R.I. as well (Camp Darby). I was a leg for my first three years in the Army (Yes, I admit it) before re-enlisting under the Ranger option. I blew out a knee and was medically discharged at the Rank of SFC with nearly 14 years service.

I am looking forward to this association. I hope to re-connect with some old Ranger buddies and perhaps make a few new ones. - RLTW

The way I became a Ranger and have earned the small amount of success I have had in life has been mostly due to one quality - determination. Lefty.

Actually...I have escaped Alabama, in a manner of speaking. I've lived in Columbus, Georgia since 1979. However, I do work across the border and I'm still a huge Crimson Tide fan; lifelong. :D

I'm from Alabama orignally, but I currently live in Columbus, Georgia; and have since I left 2/75 in '79. I went to the Ranger Department, then to 3/75, then back to the Ranger Department after blowing out a knee. Medicaled out in 1987. But one thing is for sure. I DO know the passwor though: ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!!! Been knowing that password for almost all of life. :D

Not and hour ago a girl that works for me came into my office and asked me how I liked her hoodie. I told her it must be my age, but I didn't see what everyone saw in hoodies and especially one that had been ruined by spilling ALABAMA all over the front of it!!!! She just smiled and walked out of my office.

Actually, I post these things because it usually makes Silverback respond in some uncivilized manner.

All in good fun!
