looking for guys from my RIP class, Nov 1990

Post by ashsam37 »

Without violating opsec, and persec, I would like to just say hi and maybe chat with guys from my RIP class, we graduated Nov. 1990. I know one of us is still in 2nd bat and is a 1sg, (he was the fastest guy in our class) but other then that I would like to here from the other RANGERS in my class, and its really just to shoot the shit nothing more. Im sure you guys will remember me, I cant remember his name but the RIP 1sg used to say I was going to be the ugliest RANGER in the Regiment. Also when we did our swim test it was at the Sand Hill pool and there was a thin sheet of ice on nthe water. I was the secound guy in the pool. The first guy had to be pulled out with the hook because the shock of the water caused him to loos his breath. Also we didn't get to jump because of weather so we had to do a Blue Bird assault.

Oh and one more thing that only the guys from my RIP would know. Do you remember who had the tatoo on the head of his dick, and remember when we were getting smoked for PT orientation that first Friday on zero day and they found out what they did. Remebering that I still think it was funny. Not then of course ( I really thought the cadre were trying to kill us, specially sgt. Jones) but now it makes me laugh when I think about it.

Hey Cams I cam across some of Klines videos on youtube the other day. Im not to computer literate but if I can find it again I will post it for you to check out, what with you both beeing in como and all. I didnt realy know Kline to much but I remember once there were about 9 or 10 of us hanging around in Lubbers room waiting on a night jump, when Kline came up with a porn where a guy was fucking a chicken. Everybody thought it was funny, but after that I thought Kline was a bit of a wierdo. I mean whats a guy doing with chicken porn. Also I was pretty new and I looked around at all the guys laughing at that wierd crap and I thought what the hell did I get my self into. But thinking back on that its the wierd stuff like that that sticks in your brain not the day in day out smoke sessions.

No kidding. Haven't seen or heard from Kline since Batt. Good memories. He took quite a bit of shrapnel in his knees in Rio Hato. Was a decent guy and funny as hell.

Get your "packet" filled out and send it back to Steadfast, I'll help verify you and get you into our backrooms. Little more private so we can speak openly. Opsec/Persec maintained of course.

The guy with the tattoo on his dick - it wasn't the 'tunnel rat' was it?

How many dick tattoos could there be in the army in the 90s?
