Welcome aboard and thank you for choosing to serve in these times!
As for coming to the 75th, you are a combat tested professional - you know what you need to do physically and in terms of your basic skills, just get it done. The only thing to add is the phrase you'll see all over this site: don't quit.

Welcome, thank you for your service. If you excel at what you are currently doing then the 75th may be the challenge of your life. Try to imagine serving with a group that doesn't accept less than maximum effort from themselves and from those with which they serve.

Welcome to the board warrior. Been to all those places myself. One of my Ranger buddies in Ranger school was from 101st. He was a squared away guy.
Civilians, will never understand us. Our desire to be at the worst possible place at the exact wrong time because we hope to make a difference even if it costs us our lives, are incomprehensible to them. And yet it is so. Our prayer is not, please God, let it happen on my day off; but please God, don't let me screw this up.

I joined the army 28APR08 at 27 years of age. I served 12 months in Afghanistan in the Paktika, Khost and Kandahar provinces. We took several casualties and I lost two good friends. I told myself over there that once I get back home and my ETS date comes I'm getting out, well here I am coming up on my ETS date and I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to do with myself. I am interested in serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment. My new CO just came from 3/75 and said he would write me a letter of recommendation. I have spoke to the Ranger Recruiter and everything looks good as far as me going to RASP 1 if I decided to take that route.I will post a few questions in the proper section of this website later on. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your website and I look forward to hearing some words of advice from those who have BTDT.
First, welcome to the board.

Second: There's your sign, if you question it, you probably need to re-enlist.

Stop, think it over thoroughly before you make your final decision. you don't want to look back at it 10 or 15yrs from now and regret it!
