Post by ryost »

Rangers, et.al.
I am a former Armored Cavalry Officer (DEC '89 - MAR '01) with 12 years of service. I was commissioned in '88 through ROTC at the University of South Dakota. Ranger Class 14-89. Units include 2-34 IN IANG; 1st Squadron, 3d ACR (Ft. Bliss); and 1-7 Cavalry, 1st CAV DIV (Ft. Hood). Desert Storm OCT '90 - MAR 91, Intrinsic Action FEB '97 - MAY '97 (Kuwait). I served as a Rifle PL, Tank PL, HHT XO, S4, and Cavalry Troop Commander. I served on both M1A1's and M1A2's. Call signs included Rough Rider 5, GarryOwen 4, and Comanche 6. I was medically separated in Mar '01

Currently, I am a serial entrepreneur focusing on Information Technology services for DoD, Intel community, and other government organizations. I continue to support the soldier and the greater military community. I hold an MBA, JD, and I am a certified PMP.

I am humbled by the experience and service of those on this board.

PMP is a professional certification for Project Mangers. Probably the #1 cert for IT managers and very highly regarded outside of IT.
