Old Ranger, but FNG to this site

Post by BonesC75RVN »

I'm a FNG to this site. You can tell because I posted somewhere else first before posting here. Darn New Guy I am.

Anyway, Hello to all y'all. My name is BonesC75RVN. I was in C Co, Airborne Ranger, 75th Inf, Republic of Vietnam 70-71. I know some of you folks on this site. In fact Gary Dolan introduced me to the site about a week or two ago. I think I have been here before but just looked in. I'm a retired Theme Park Construction Project Manager. I have been retired for about one year now and have alot more time to use my laptop for more inetersting things then work. Hence, I am here reading and trying to stay updated on what the hell is going on with my Ranger family.

I am a volunteer at the county Zoo two days a week. I work on my newly aquired Sailboat a few days a week. I fish alot from my Kayak a few days a week. I golf when I can even though I'm not near old enough for the game. I spend a few days a week in the woods with a bow, black powder, or a modern gun, giving the deer, wild hogs and small game someone to laugh at. I spend a few days a week helping my wife muck out stalls for the three horses that own us. Sometimes with the days that are left, I go to Ranger reunions in other states. Mostly, I go to the All Vets Reunion held near by in Melbourne Florida at the end of every April. I set up the 20 x 40 Ranger Display Tent with Rangers Bill Wilki, Ranger Steve Minner, Ranger Steve Mantooth, and Ranger Jeff Weatherford. Y'all show up and help us drink all the beer, I don't care what era Ranger you are.

In my spare time, I bullsh-t alot, really I do..... RLTW Bones

It's an honor to welcome an RVN Ranger. Thank you for all you have done to make the 75th what it is today. Looking forward to the bullshit drinking and beer stories!
