The Doc is In

Post by RgrDoc0310 »

I thought I had submitted one last week; but haven't seen it get on the site; So let's try this again.

I entered the Army back in '90 and got to B CO, 3/75th in '91. I went through RIP with Pat Lepre, Raleigh Cash, Eric James, Shawn Nelson, among others. Initially spent my time with 2nd PLT B CO, then on to be the Co Sr Medic. After Somalia, I worked in the BAS, with CPT Egan and SFC Sisk. I got off active duty in Oct '94 and have been in the National Guard since. I'm presently the Medical Section PSG for a Moutain Infantry battalion in Vermont, working Active Duty Special Work covering a variety of tasks for our IBCT.

Is that the same Sisk that was on Desert One as an E5? If it was, he was my first casualty as a medic! He got the static line wrapped around his arm on a jump back into Rock DZ....my cherry buster too!

Dave Sisk

He and CPT Kevin Egan knew each other from way back. I don't remember Sisk ever talking about Desert 1, but Chief Egan did.

I don't recall Egan, but Doc Sisk had a nice big scar on his bicep, I think it was his left arm and V shaped where they repaired his bicep.

Welcome and I'm assuming you know Doc Donovan? :P
