I was born in the Bco Bar.....Literally. When The bus dropped us cherries off from Rip (10 PM). The SSG (Bryant?) on CQ Duty Locked us in there that night so that none of the fresh spec 4's could mess with us.. So I slept in there my first night with a padlock on the outside of the door.RangerJurena wrote:Spend much time in the B.co Bar? Lord knows I did..troll wrote:Hello,

Re: Bco 1/75er '92-'96
Then we have probably met. I crawled over the ceiling tiles from Hardrock's dayroom into the B.co bar a time or two. I use to hang out with Rummells, Kurtz, Rich, Beilich ( though we were not really friends), Rich and a few others. Not sure if any of them were still there when you arrived.troll wrote:I was born in the Bco Bar.....Literally. When The bus dropped us cherries off from Rip (10 PM). All there when I arrived..."Col" Kurtz. I remember he gave Howe the best going away plaque I had seen....It was a glass picture box with a skull inside it wearing a black beret. It has a little engraving with his teams slogan and the dates.
I liked Rich a lot. Pretty amusing demeanor. Began every thing he said with "F'in" (but the u was pronounced with an A). I actually thought he was certifiably Crazy. Latest I have heard I about him only lends to further proof. I remember he asked me, "F'in ,<my name>, You know why I kick ASS!" I said "No Sgt?"......."F'in do pushups......because I F'n CAN!"
Belich - Dedicated NCO. Not too many liked him but, his teams and squads always ranked at the top...good leader. I did not have a problem with him...then again I was never in his squad.
