Papa Company Ranger

Post by Bondo »

New to this site; hoping to meet up with any former "P" Co 5th Mech guys! I served in the 82nd at Ft. Bragg in 1970, then with Papa Company from April 71 till we closed Quang Tri in August. Then my buddy, Mac, and I were transferred to Chu Lia for a few months till it closed, then Da Nang for our final months. I went by the code name of "Tennessee". Anybody there at that time?

When I arrived at HHC, 2d Bn as a cherry PFC in 1975, our 1SG, 1SG Peterson, was from P-75.
If he is representative of Papa Rangers, then P-75 was one outstanding outfit, even if certain "there I was" memoirs didn't seem to think so
