JayHawk 7 Intro

Post by RedHawk357 »

Hello everyone would like to introduce myself. I am the Senior Military Instructor at the University of Kansas. I was recently selected by DA for this assignment. I just left 25th ID having worked in D co 2-35th Hvy Wpns Co as a PSG. I was promoted to Master Sergeant and took over a position of NCOIC of a BSTB S3 shop. Prior to the 25th ID assignment I was an Infantryman in the land of the unwashed at Fort Sill OK as a DS. Spent three years there keeping the cannon cockers at three meters with my back against the wall lol. Been assigned to Korea three times, Fort Lewis, Fort Benning, Fort Campbell twice. EIB/CIB AASLT DS Spent a little time with AMU when I was assigned to Fort Benning GA. Great site here wih a wealth of info. Thanks for all that you do.

Welcome! I graduated and commissioned from the University of Kansas just this year. I'll be back at the end of December and early January for HRAP. I look forward to meeting you. Any help you can give me before I hit the School would be greatly appreciated.

What comes to mind about Kansas is some chick saying: There's no place like home, there's no place like home! She was doing something wierd with her heels and a little dog that she was holding.

That's an awesome assignment you have right now. It also has it's stickier side. Good luck with it, and welcome to the site.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes and hellos. Don't hesitate to drop me a line if you need something along the way of ROTC help or questions about the program. I probably can't answer it but I am surrounded by quality folks who live for the "stump the chump" questions. If your around the area fell free to stop by. Just be careful where you park as the parking monitors would be able to nail Vasily Zaitsev hiding amongst the pine needles and asphalt. Well off to do some reading take care folks and enjoy your Holidays. Have a great day.
