Introduction

Post by Infantryman »

Hello Rangers,

I am currently an Infantryman in the PA Army National Guard. I am a FNG, I just graduated from OSUT on 24AUG2007. I have had some history on this site, as I was banned before and told to come back when I finished my IET. I can say that I've learned much from my experience at Fort Benning, and I assure you that I will not make the same mistakes I did last time. Thank you.

Ranger Matador275,

My last screen name was Wowwycow. I was banned for being "un-trainable". I also came back and apologized under the screen name spizot90, but was told to come back when I was done with OSUT. I was not being deceitful by getting a second user name, I clearly stated who I was and what my purpose was.

Ranger Advisor Jim,

I am in 1st Battalion, 112th Infantry Regiment, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division (Mechanized).

Ranger's, would it be possible for my last name to be edited out of these posts? When I first registered here, I was stupid and didn't even know what OPSEC was. I would greatly appreciate it Rangers, thank you.

Just to let you know what a small world we live in, I know your Battalion Commander. You are a member of a good unit with a proud heritage. Your Strykef fielding is progressing well.

Now, please tell us what you learned from your experience here at armyranger.com? 250 words or less. Complete this task within the next 48 hours (midnight, 13 September 2007).

Ranger Advisor Jim,

I am nothing but proud to be joining the group of Soldiers in my company, as well the rest of the 28th ID.

What I learned here is to listen more than talk. I learned that I don't know everything, even when I may think I do. There are many others out there that can help me, if I just keep my mouth shut and stay in my lane. Even though I've always had respect for those BTDT's, I've definitely learned to respect them more than I ever had.

I know that was pretty short, but it was right to the point for me.

Indeed, some of the proudest. Not many know they were one of the units that took the brunt of the German offensive during that Battle of the Bulge and gave as good as they got. (did 5 years in the 28th.. )

You tightened up your shot group and came back. Congrats and welcome.

Yes, 1-112 Inf has the Presidential Unit Citation for the Battle of the Bulge. BTW, Rico, I certainly hope you will come back as a more mature soldier. I just got off the phone with his unit. Rico is a member of the 1-112 Inf. Welcome...
