There was much hard alcohol poured down my throat at Vic's house both at Benning and Lewis. J.rico, yeah, I may have scuffed you up a time or two, but as the good Ranger law decrees " Scuff up others as you yourself were scuffed up!" The Border Patrol academy was a MOTHER%$#@*&! I was suprised at the amount of SMOKE those cats brought down on some civilian ass. I mean I expected that stuff at RIP, PRC, RS and SERE, but a civilian school...no way. The academy was fun, but they continue the silly games at your duty station and at 30 years old, after some TIB, I hung it up quick. Feds is the way to go if you are looking at a LEO career, though.

The Palace
Naw, Oto-Man, I got to Bn in late '91, but spent the first few years in 3rd Plt, went to on the Haiti SNAFU in '94 and blew out my knee doing pt at Gitmo. Came back and did BNCOC with a torn ACL and didn't find out until about Dec '94 that I would have to go under the knife. 1SG D saved my ass and let me hang around until I healed, so I actually didn't become the AT Section Ldr until Aug of 2005. WEBCO was the shit though, it seemed to me that they kept assigning all the Joe's that were ETSing to the AT section and moving the cats that were staying into "real" squad leader positions. So there had been no real continuity for a while, I stuck around for about a year and a half before I requested to go back to a line platoon, so I went back to 3rd platoon.
Should have stayed in WEBCO, AT section, no one fucked with you beacuse they didn't know shit about the section. In the line everyone is a fucking expert...even boot LT's.
Ya got me on "The Palace", Bro?

Welcome to the site!
We graduated Ranger school together. I was in C Co Weapons and became the Mortar Section leader in late 94. Chuck over in B Co was a good buddy of mine. Doin the speckled feces thing now I heard.
Did you get to join us in the ole "crack Cuban refugees in the head" trip to Panama? Your 1sgt and his pal Gazoo were there, I will never forget him walking by us in riot gear brandishing a 12 Gauge while the rest of us stood around with axe handles, fucking classic.
