Ranger LAZ Intro

Post by LAZ »

My Ranger brothers, Ranger parents and wives and all other military veterans,

It is truely an honor to be in such great company! I am Ranger LAZ. I proudly served with Aco. 3/75 in both Weapons and 1st platoons "Glory Boys" from 1993 to 1996. I stumbled upon this site a couple of months ago, and am filling the square as we speak for not posting an intro earlier.

It has been great reading through the many posts of past and present Rangers et al. I am looking forward to reconnecting with and getting to know many more Ranger brothers.

Being a Ranger to me is, living the Creed by setting an example for others to follow, being mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight, knowing you are stronger than the non brothers standing to your left and right, always being highly patriotic and giving the utmost respect to all those who served before us and to all those who have and will serve after us.

A famous Ranger once said "Tell the truth about what you see and what you do. There is an army depending on us for correct information. You can lie all you please when you tell other folks about the Rangers, but don't ever lie to a Ranger or an officer" Major Robert Rogers, 1759

Welcome to the site LAZ. And thanks for serving our great nation as a US Army Ranger. The others will be along shortly with a more traditional Ranger greeting...
