Introduction!

Post by DejaThoris »

Hello!

It is with great reverence that I enter this site and offer my introduction. I come from a military family and served for several years myself, but now work as a civilian. My purpose for visiting this site is my search for a particular gift for a good friend that served as a Ranger. I believe there is a recording of songs from Fort Benning (?) from a band or band members that went through Ranger training - has anyone heard of this? If anyone has a good contact on how to obtain this CD, or something else that a Ranger would enjoy as a gift that would be helpful! THANK YOU in advance for any and all guidance!

If you served yourself, you should be able to post an intro in the rangers/vets/ranger parents section.

Admin, and clarification on this??

Thank you for your direction! And also for moving me to the rangers/vets/ranger parents section - I was afraid when I did not see my post that I had been deleted for some oversight on my part.
Thank you for all the advice - and I am familiar with Keni Thomas- he is very good! After being around military the majority of my life, I thought I knew most of what there was about military life - I was wrong. Rangers are an entirely different breed and I have found it both fascinating and difficult to ascertain the mindset and thought process after being around a few. I care VERY much for the ones I do know AND because of their obvious deep connection to this group - it is for this reason that I was looking for hints, items that would mean alot to them.

And thank you RTO - did not think twice about serving - thanks as well to everyone here!
