New Ranger
Greetings,
New Ranger qualified officer here. This website was pointed out to me by a friend. I've enjoyed reading some of the postings here over the past year and now that I've finished School I thought I would register.
I was commissioned into NYARNG as an Infantry branched 2LT this past May. I have no prior service and look forward to training with my new unit as a Rifle Platoon Leader.
I just finished School with class 03-06, very cold in the Mountains just like any Winter class. Overall I was very impressed with the professionalism of the RIs in the different phases, especially at 5th RTB.
Looking forward to contributing when I can.
Jim

The Pre-Ranger course at Benning definately got me through Darby on the first try. Me and the rest of the guys from PRC 02-06 that graduated yesterday definately appreciate the instruction we recieved.
