Introduction:Joe

Post by Industrial Athlete »

I am a 28 year old with bachelors in business finance. I work for a family business and am a project manager for an industrial construction company. I have always been active with sports my entire life, and had interest in the military since I was a young child reading books on warriors of Vietnam and WWII, and now reading all the newest memoirs of OIF & OEF from our current operators.

I have an amazing job, house, girlfriend, but not married. I feel like I am living a life that is not for me. Just finished reading Dick Couch’s Sua Sponte, and it really inspired me to enlist and try and get my option 40 contract. Everything was spot on with his book. I am missing that brotherhood and comradery that I have always had growing up playing organized sports. I am willing to give up everything in the hope it’s not too late.

Look forward to all the wisdom and future conversation with veteran, current, and potential rangers

Regards
Joe

Haha, my buddy in my platoon is "Alex Hammond" the honor grad from the sua sponte class. We give him crap about being famous now all the time. He takes it as good naturedly as anyone can. PM me and we can chat for a bit about your goals...

Also, SEALS aren't exactly known for their strictness in pushups, you might find that a large portion of those will not be counted when you go through RASP... make sure your form is on point
