Are you kidding me?!?! .....
I seriously mean what I am about to tell you:

Your attitude won't cut it in the Infantry, much less in SOF. You have quit without even trying. To me and the people in this community that is appalling and you will waste someone's slot or worse even somehow slither into a regular unit and jeopardize soldier's lives.

You should make the decision not to join. The military is not for people like yourself. Believe me, it isn't for everyone. Regardless of what you think about it.

Are you kidding me?!?! I dont have a problem with the push-ups or the squats, but the pull-ups....
Do Army Rangers really have to do that many pull-ups?
I'm in pretty good shape (obviously NOT) but 100 pull-ups is a daunting task. I can do a few "chin-ups" but pull-ups have always eluded me. I'm sorry I feel like such a sh-tb-g for posting this. Are there any other guys out there who can't do pull-ups??

Thanks Rangers!

It's pretty simple really, either suck it up and post your results OR don't do it and and don't whimper about how hard not doing it was. I've never done 100 pullups in one workout either, but I'm sure as hell gonna do it after work. I guess, thanks for giving me more motivation!

Ranger Nomad,

Quit?...no. It's not an option. I got angry at myself yesterday and gave the pull-ups my best effort. I managed to do 7. Far from 100 I know but my new goal is to be able to do 100 by November. I know it wont be easy. Sorry if I offended you with my last post, I appreciate the advice. However, giving up would be a big mistake. I played high school football...

Thanks Rangers!

If you can only do 5...do five ten times. It's the same thing with women. You're not likely to ever fuck a 10 but you can fuck five 2s to average out.

Better to do two 5's and it's just about as easy.

I guess I just like to stay busy, but what's wrong with doing 10 ones?
