(Video) Operation Gothic Serpent (Task Force Ranger)

Post by centermass »

At 15:32 hrs, local time, 22 years ago, this day, in Mogadishu, Somalia, extraordinary men came together in extraordinary ways, to fight a battle....a battle of which - has since become legend, for their courage and bravery under fire, their sheer tenacity and determination in the face of overwhelming odds.

To those of my friends, Brothers, who went, and those who went, and paid the ultimate price, this video is dedicated to you and especially the memory of those no longer with us physically, but with us, always, in spirit. We will never forget.

I just came across your post from Oct. I wanted to let you know that during this I was apart of C Co 3/75. I/ we had no part of this thanks to Clinton. But, I wanted to let you know that I will be honoring those that gave the ultimate sacrifice during a half marathon taking place on the beach at the Fl Al state line in March of 2017. I am adding a small twist to the run. At 46 I will be completing the 13.1 miles with a 65lbs and hoping to hit the 12 mile mark in 3 hours (Rgr standard). I had no part but I had friends in the conflict and will always honor them. I begin my road march training mid July. Attached is the shirt I am having made in their honor. I felt obligated to include the 10th Mountain members also.

I will also have; "I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy" , at the bottom.

A very fitting tribute Brother.

Quick question:

Have you ever received a verification packet?
