Nothing to add except building a 300 Blk has been on my to-do list for a while. I like carrying an AR in woods, but .223 is not legal for deer here.

Unless you are shooting suppressed, I would suggest looking into 6.8

I know the Daniel Defense one is a pretty rad set up. They have one at my local shop for sale..can add a quick attach/detach suppressor for another $900. Guy at the shop said a customer hunts with it. Dropped one at the feeder, other deer looked at that one and stood there...clueless. Claims with the suppressor all you can hear is the BCG moving and the casing hitting the ground. He ended up carrying two deer out that day. I got worked out to where I get low prices on guns from a distributor. Only a 2 day turnaround. Looking at a SCAR 17s. $1000 cheaper than MSRP, from this distributor.

I've read reviews that say it is only accurate out to about 200 yards, after that if becomes hit or miss. I thought about getting one, but I was looking for something that would shoot at least 300 yds or farther.
