Whatcha Packin'

Post by hobbit »

I own one of each of these, one for the Jeep, one for the RV. I'm thinking about trading with a 1st Cav buddy for his pair of .45's.

I carry one of these.

That's about the most dangerous thing we're allowed to carry off duty.

On the plus side though, it's probably more useful for opening stubborn packets of peanuts than a 9mm automatic.
And when I had opened the fourth beer, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and her that sat on him was the wife, and Hell followed with her......

I shoot this, a CZ-40 (otherwise known as a Colt Z-40), which were made by Ceska Zbrojovka under licence from Colt in the Czech Republic. Only about 850 were made, and they never imported to the USA, so there's only a few here. Mine is probably one of a very few without the USA stamp on it, as I bought mine over there from domestic stock, and imported it in the HHG on the return trip.

I also own this one, a CZ-52 Makarov which is a 7.62x25 Czech officers' pistol.

Of course, here soon I'll be carrying this one around...

S&W 469. This one is not mine as mine is MUCH more abused. The blueing is worn in many places. Still a good peice. I use to carry a Desert Eagle .357 (figured if I ever had a jam I could beat them to death with the 8+ pounds of steel).
