I soon realized that left wing, communist, cess pool colleges were no place for me. (Just a bunch of Goddamn lazy, punk, kids who do nothing but talk. And chicken shit "professors" who are supposed to be intelligent, but are void of any common sense what so fucking ever, and have devoted their lives to turinng our children into spineless, liberal, socialists - if you ask me. Not a friendly environment for a Ranger.)
I also realized I didn't play well with stupid civilians, either. Yes, the transition process can be difficult, at times. So, now, I am self-employed in a white collar industry. I wear a damn suit and tie all day, and long for the good 'ol days.
I should have told my first wife to go fuck herself, instead of leaving Bat. to come home and marry her crazy ass.

What you do after Bn is up to you. One common occurence that I have noticed is the majority of those who enter the civilian life after Bn do great things. Out of my Plt those who left we have 2 lawyers, 3-4 Fed agents, a couple of MD's a PA, nurses, and many who are in business. College is what you make of it. I started at a good community college, and while there are many liberals it is easier to find like minded proffessors at smaller schools b/c they have often bucked the liberal education system. Even if you get a left leaning prof, remember exposure to different approaches is not bad. They might not know nor experienced what we have but neither have we experienced what they have. Basically it is what you make of it.

Jody, I'll try and check that out, I've always been interested in martial arts but where I grew up none of the instructors were very good (we had like 2). I wish I could have had a ranger when I was a kid like those in your school.
Also does this tournament invole kids from your school against other kids or is it something with adults that you will be participating in?

TOOL don't forget me...
I was in 1st Bn. from 92-94, I got out and have been in college ever since. I am currently in my last year of chiropractic school and can't wait to graduate.
