Re: Option 40 13F...is this the way for me?

You are 17, in high school and have time to figure it out. Recruiters need to fill quotas, are pushed to hit numbers and if you are walking in off t...

Re: Hello again

Great to see you back here again brother.

Connor got a quick few days home this weekend and we were laughing last night about you giving him blood wings at graduation after the airborne announcement that blood wings were not allowed under Army policy.

Welcome here Matt. Hold out for what you want as far as an Option 40 contract. You hold all the cards at this point, if they don't give what you want go to a different recruiting station. Always capitalize Ranger.

Welcome here Zach. There's a lot of information here for those that want to use it.

Have you actually signed the paperwork and enlisted ? If you haven't, and want an Option 40, you should hold out until you get what you want.

Re: Introduction - Chase

Welcome here. Well, that's a lot to digest. First, yes you have enough time to become physically fit if you are going to wait a year before enlisting. Plus, if you get an Option 40 contract, it's not like you go straight into RASP- you will become more fit as you progress through BCT and AIT. As for...
