I think that short cadre guy from the reality show was a former 82nd Airplane Gang member.

As for the French, I've spent some time in France and the guys seem to have the same interest, drinking and getting laid.

Welcome Aint got a tab, hit the slab, boy that brings back memories! I can remember our senior gunner Jesse Ooten, being the only Ranger with a tab yelling out those words like it was yesterday. He had both sides of, at that time, the duece and a half all to himself from Stewart all the way to HAAF...

Congratulations.

I think you hear a common thread here, the shit has not hit the fan yet. Enjoy that trip up north and get your head screwed on and cleared of all the cob webs.

It's going to mental and physical hell for awhile, the wolves will weed out the weak, make sure you are not one of them.

It's the most intelligent thing the two jealous units who are not HQ'ed in Savannah could come up with as an insult. Though I think it is more specific to the following description: less than 5 years ago- "not too long ago" They have somehow associated Tybee Island with shaving legs.

I'm with Puck. I'm sure the CSM does not want to lose a good soldier, but I have to believe that most do not want to hold back some one who is reaching for the proverbial brass ring. Never had any luck with the DA / 4187 route myself. Usually required some old crusty guy like Puck making a few phone...
