Re: ROTC and the Ranger Battalion
I have no idea, but would assume they take Regular Army offices vs. Reserve Component on Active Duty officers. That might be worth looking up. Not to be confused with Reserve Component officer activated for duty.

Re: ROTC and the Ranger Battalion
If you commission, your chances of attaining a position within the Regiment will be minuscule, compared against your year group cohort. There's a finite number of potions available, vs. number of positions thou out the rest of the Army. Getting one is highly competitive. Career timing and current un...

How height might effect RASP/Etc.?
You may hate a long legged gazelle who're pacesetting. You won't work for the Old Guard. You won't jump a stinger, but may have ample opportunity to jump other heavy or awkward loads.

So did you fail to read the FAQs in the intro section, or do they just not apply to you?

While I have documentation of such from both Congress and the President, these other reprobates are working off word of mouth.

Gunna be an 11X, and eventually an officer, because Rangering ain't for you. Good luck with that. Sincerely.
What makes you think the regular Army is any different from the corporation you work for now, as a Private or an officer? That's rhetorical.

Re: Failure of RASP
Why are you entertaining thoughts of failure? That's rhetorical. There's no reason to retrain you into another MOS unless you are medically disqualified to perform the duties in your current one, due to injury, or something along those lines. You're more likely to be medically separated/retired from...

Boot Selection For RASP (flat feet)
What you're issued these days are pretty good, especially compared to what I started with. You won't get a chance to choose what to wear through OSUT, and you don't want to start any hard course that involves long walks/runs while trying to break in new boots. I had/have flattish feet and just learn...

Re: froglube
Couldn't really say. It definitely happened that the spray can was worse before a weapon was. I guess I first noticed it when I came home after 15 months deployed. That can was done, and I didn't want to use it on a weapon. Another can showed signs of spraying tacky after a year I'd guess. Those wea...
