Re: Will this effect me trying to get my security clearance?

IDEmagnet is right. You should talk to your recruiter. The standards has changed since I worked at MEPS, but one thing for sure you do not want to piss hot. That is def a show stopper.

Re: Ranger Verification

Ranger X-ray, I do respect the process. I sent a message asking what my status was. I got no reply. I seen post made by him, but no feedback from my messages. What got me hot on this was when he stated there was no record of my Tab Confirmation. He said to send my order numbers. I did. I figure he a...

Re: Ranger Verification

Look I saw this site and thought it be a good thing to join. I followed the rules for submitting info to verify I am a Ranger. I did not disrespect anyone. I told the truth. I got no reply after sending my info to prove I graduated from Ranger School. This is the first time I posted something like t...

Ranger Verification

If this is the wrong place to put this post, forgive me. I've been part of this forum since Feb 2012. I submitted information about who I am. I sent order numbers of my tab, order numbers that sent me to RIP and then to 3/75, order numbers from 3/75 to TSB. I told the truth that I did not stay in BN...

Re: asthma waiver-option 40 contract

EasyDay if you are using an inhaler now, or it has not been a year or more you used, you will not get a waiver. Unless the MEPS has change since I was there, it won't happen. Another thing is you have to think about other people who you will serve with. If you go into the service with that condition...

Request for Help

There are people today with the MOH who lived in are able to tell their tell. Ranger Pease didn't know weather the grenade was a dud or not. His action was to protect his buds with his life. Back then I guess you had to be dead in order to receive the MOH. I don't know what you can do about this. My...

Army Dropping ACU Pattern

I never liked the ACUs especially wearing them with a black beret. It didn't look right, and velcro would burn out after awhile.

Exposing a "Ranger" Imposter

Your story reminds me of this guy back in NYC, Carmine Annunziata, who ran an army navy store, Armed Forces MCSS. He claimed to be a retired Army Major (later I found out that was bullshit). In his store, which was located in Jamaica, Queens NY, he would wear his uniform, and require customers to sh...

PT questions/help

Well first of all you should not do anything like that after surgery. Second, being a Ranger is not all about being physical, but also being smart. The swim test does not require you to swim no more than 15 to 25 meters. When I took the test, it was 15 meters, but I heard it changed to 25 meters. I ...

PT questions/help

Yeah, you going to wind up hurting yourself than helping. Before I joined the Army, I too worked for a living as a bike messenger back in NYC. I didn't score a 400+ on my PT test but I did score over a 290. My only problem I had was I did not know how to swim with BDU,boots and gear, but I LEARNED, ...

Father's Day gift from my daughter

"If I had to choose a title that was worth more to me, it would be 'Dad'." -ManchuV For My Father By: S Where do I begin? It has been 23 years from the first day my father and I met. I could only imagine the thoughts that were running through his mind “I have a kid! She’s a girl! I’m her d...
