Re: Intro: Doc_Dino
It has been an anxious wait to this point and I am sure my recruiter is getting tired of me nagging but I did get an update today that my packet was approved at another level by the Subject Matter Expert for my MOS (where it was delayed at for about a month) and is now on its way to the Regimental a...

So are you going to re-enlist to reclass to 68W? If so volunteer for RASP at AIT if its still an option getting to RASP after that is a bit of a pain. Please refrain from dispensing advice on a path you have yet to complete. To the OP, welcome. There are many here that have done the 68W route, you'...

Re: Introduction - Deimos
When I went through 68W AIT almost 4 years ago the 75th was activly recruiting AIT medics then. Dont know if that has changed but I can tell you that you should try your hardest to get it then bacuse its a pain in that ass to volunteer once you make it to your duty station. I strongly considered vol...

As far as I am aware after RASP I am required to attend the SOCOM course. Im not sure if thats the same as the course you are refering to I did some quick searches that did not yield many results so im not sure. I can tell you that I am willing and eager to get my hands on whatever training may be a...

1. In the meanwhile, I hope you are working out and improving your PT. Also, memorize the Ranger Creed. 2. When you do go to RASP you may have lots of challenges as a leader. Expect it! 3. Shortly after you complete RASP, you can expect to attend Ranger School. You will be an E-5 without a Tab. The...

Re: How old is too old?
I believe your age and experience will only act as an advantage in the Army. As an E-5 my best soldiers are aways the guys that are a little older and more mature. Sice the recession many older and more educated people have joined the enlisted ranks so being 26 you wont be out of place at all as lon...
