Re: DUI Cutout Hats
Be careful washing this guy, or at least use the top rack of a dishwasher rather than a washing machine. I used the washing maching on mine and ruined it.

Re: Green Beaver!
Sweet old bird! If anyone ever finds themselves between Edmonton and Calgary, pull into the small city of Wetaskiwin and check out the Canadian Aviation Hall of Fame Museum. It concerns itself primarily with early bush pilots and the aircraft they flew. Very interesting.

Re: USSOF Conduct Two Raids in Africa
U.S. Navy SEALS from SEAL Team Six cut short their targeted operation against a top al-Shabaab commander in Somalia after a firefight at his seaside compound ended when they saw children and realized they could not capture their target. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/10/07/seals-in-somalia-op...

Re: USSOF Conduct Two Raids in Africa
I like to watch the English-language China cable channel (CCTV). They ran this story this evening, but with a decidedly anti-US slant. They portrayed the SEALs as nothing more than cowards who ran away the second they came under fire at the Kenyan mall. Maybe I'm missing something here but Saturday...

Re: What is the record for the longest jump at Friar Field?
As a Jumpmaster, had one guy I put out over the DZ. He hit a thermal and was still in the air, just drifting around long after I hit the ground. Eventually, he wound up in a Food Lion parking lot. He called the SDNCO letting him know his location so he could get a ride back. I'm thinking all tolled...

Hammer Film's "The Burning Man" was on the other night. Anyone else seen this chiller? Hammer's best film from the 1970's, hands down.

Re: You know what pisses me off?
Let's simplify things here: without America leading the charge, "the Arab League" isn't going to do shit. Furthermore, the only real concern the Arab League has in all this, is that Muslim radicals in their own countries are probably going to pull the same coup sooner or later. Obama reall...

Re: Dozens of CIA operatives on the ground during Benghazi
The Communist News Network? Yea, I feel all warm and cuddly towards those sorry bastards now. Consider the fact that CNN's major source for most of its Middle Eastern news stories is Al Jazeera or many of its hundreds of Muslim stringers working the beat. I really do hope Americans make sentiments k...
