Re: Pray for CSM James E Voyles
I do a lot of work for the City of Lakewood, here in Washington State and today as I was driving around checking on two of my crews I saw CSM Voyles walking a big black lab down the street. The dog was trying to walk him, but he was doing a good job at controlling it. I stopped and talked for a few ...

Cody, welcome to the site. Your PT needs some improvement and you've only got 2 months left before you leave. Start focusing hard on improving in all areas. Memorize the Ranger Creed and start living by it. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit. RLTW

Re: Any tips for weather?
Drink PL ENTY of water and don't quit. I was a Ranger Instructor in Desert Phase and the biggest problems we had were that the Ranger students wouldn't drink the hot water in their canteens. They'd become a heat casualty and their canteens would be full. Water is water, hot or col...

Re: Charlie sitreps
Thanks for the SITREP. One of the most hardcore Rangers I ever knew, recycled RIP two times and made it to Battalion on his third attempt, he never quit. Take this time to recuperate and get healthy. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit. RLTW

Welcome to the site Joel. Remember, 'Attention to Detail' will cause you to do push-up here, but in the real world it could cause you or one of your buddies to die. Start memorizing the Ranger Creed and live by it. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit! RLTW

Ranger Grim666, I have to wait until Oct 1 to get a 11x option 40 but my recuiter said I can go in Aug if I signed a 92G (cook) option 40 and most likely be reclassed to a 11b, is this true? Don't fall for the BS. Once you sign up for that MOS, you will have to spend at least 2 to 4 years in that M...

Re: Introduction Fr88tz
When I speak of preparing mentally, I'm not speaking of intelligence, I'm speaking of mental toughness. Most people who quit, quit not because they can't physically handle it, but because they can't mentally handle it. The body will do anything the mind tells it to do. You need to train your mind to...
