Re: SITREP - Seth

Rangers and mentees, the other mentees (gwill, giant, woody, theloop88, docdino) and I graduated RASP with class 02-15. Thank you to all of the Rangers for the guidance provided on this board; the information helped me get into the correct mindset and deal with adversity far better than I could hav...

Re: SITREP- Darryn

You quit and you are making excuses for it. Don't bother trying to come to Regiment later. I sure as fuck would never want you working for me and no NCO here wants a pussy for a subordinate.

You got your chance. Have fun in leg land.

Re: SITREP- Darryn

Tell all your mentee buddies to do pushups.. just cause you probably arent doing shit at Pre RASP except area beautification and chow and getting off at 1300 every day. Get you better for RASP.

Tell smsst14 to do burpees instead of pushups.

Re: Introduction - Noah

Just an update from my trip to MEPS yesterday: I took the ASVAB, and my AFQT percentile score is 99. All my line scores are between 130 and 141. My recruiter told me that several Option 40 contracts are available for me, but none are infantry, so they'll have to request an 11B Option 40 contract fo...

Re: Role of E-4's in the Regiment.

Rangers, so I'm a DEP who leaves in August, and I have a four year degree so as you know ill be going in as an E4. I would like to know the roles I will play as a new E4. What kind of responsibilities will I have once I am in. I was told by someone who got out in 2005 that your pretty much treated ...

Assuming your push up form is according to standard, good numbers on pu/su. Pull ups are not bad as well. You run slow though, like the others have pointed out. Run more, push yourself out of your comfort zone. Run a five mile, and post your time on this thread. Not on a treadmill, outside on asphal...

Re: re-intro SITREP update

Ranger Jim. My apologies for late reply, been busy lately. Quite frankly, to say I've been screwing around for 7 years is quite uncalled for, when respectfully, you don't know what I've been doing, nor dealing with for seven years. From medical issues of family members to lay offs, (companies havin...

PU went slightly down. Going to start doing 50 every time I get up from sitting down.
You know you CAN do too many pushups right? While your resolve is admirable, doing 50 everytime you stand is excessive.

Re: Sitrep from StandSure

Here is some advice: When you do Red Diamond over at SURT (the other Land Nav area other than Cole Range), stay the fuck out of the swamp. It will almost certainly cause you to fail. Get all the points closer to you and RUN. Its a large course. If you HAVE to get a point on the other side, use the d...
