Re: Introduction: Redcairo

Sorry, I was working on two replies at once and missed this. Ranger Jim, thanks. Here are some of my initial points-of-wondering. As I am so unfamiliar with all this, I apologize in advance if I mess up something just by the framing of a question, or ask something socially / politically incorrect (o...

Re: Introduction: Redcairo

Ma'am, I respect your decision. The decision to do something, then doing it, is something any Ranger can identify with. Depending on the context you seek, I suspect you will find most of the answers you seek already written on this board somewhere. I hope you brought your thick skin, becuase my bret...

Re: INTRO-Tooreal11

Tooly, I had to read this three or four times, then cogitate for a bit. I am going to offer you feedback on your communication. My feedback is not an invitation for more exchange about my feedback. Thanks Rangers for all your responses! LOL Ranger Jim thank you for the link...I am planning to come i...

Re: Introduction: Redcairo

Welcome to the site. I am a little confused by the sentence structure of this sentence portion; "one of the characters in a current novel who has written himself is an Army Ranger". Is the character taking on a life of his own as you write - or is the character a writer?

Re: Sitrep

Jake,

Update your avatar. Go on the mentees thread and post some 'encouragement'. I'm proud of you Ranger; you've done something very few men will ever attempt, much less accomplish.

Re: SITREP- Elgecko

I'm late to this party, but hey, war is hell. Good luck stud. Never forget your purpose; you want to do better than the man to your left and right. Refuse to abide shit-bags right from the very start. A wise man once said, "I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger. I was a Ranger because I a...

Re: INTRO-Tooreal11

By the time you earn the coveted tan beret you will realize some things; 1. That was waaaaaay too much work for a hat, 2. Only the French could invent something that is simultaneously uncomfortable, wierd looking AND useless, and 3. If you're wearing a beret you're not having fun. You've given us a ...
