Re: SITREP - Seth
Rangers and mentees, the other mentees (gwill, giant, woody, theloop88, docdino) and I graduated RASP with class 02-15. Thank you to all of the Rangers for the guidance provided on this board; the information helped me get into the correct mindset and deal with adversity far better than I could hav...

Re: 11x Option 40 Contract vs. Bachelor's Degree
Welcome Herc,
I know when I came in ('07), you could only get an opt.40 contract with a high school diploma. GED holders had to go the long way to RASP, IE; Big Army and then put in a 4187 for RASP. It may have changed though.

Stop with self pity excuses. No one enjoys hearing a man say that kind of shit.Soap wrote:I'm sorry Ranger Jim. I don't know how it escaped me. I'll know for the next time. Won't happen again.

Re: SITREP-Ark
RangerX, It happened and he's still alive for now. He was given two counseling statements, ART-15, and must do fireguard every night for the duration of his time at BCT. However, I don't think he's going to make it. He's a complete shit bag, wussed out of our brigade run and went to sick call for a...

Don't fall behind, don't get lazy. 1 day that you take off from studying will start a chain of falling behind and you will fail because of it.

I don't want to overstep any boundaries here as a lowly DEP'r, But this was very painful for me to read. You clearly demonstrated you do not want to serve in the 75th. By you getting a second chance, You take that spot from someone who IS committed to their goal. Someone like myself. Okay buddy, so...

Re: Introduction: Joe
Man, you seem like a good guy and your head is in the right place but you really need some guidance on PT. Those scores are absolutely abysmal and there has been little to no improvement in your APFT score since you joined the site. There is no time to be fucking around dude, you have to want it. NO...

Re: Introduction- Chase
Whats up man? Where in Southern Cali are you from? I originally hail from Riverside county. It sounds like you need to be more stern with your recruiters. Don't settle for something less than an opt. 40. Granted, thats truely what you want. Gambling in OSUT / Airborne for a RASP slot can be very cha...
