Re: Whatcha going do PL?

"Who's the RTO? You're dead too. Do you even know your 9 line PL?" I'm rolling here. I forgot how funny that was. Brings back memories of school, and when we realized there were actually 6 principles of patrolling, with the 6th being "There is no such thing as patrolling, only running...

Part 2 Shopping centers and gas stations Everybody shops. Everybody that uses a vehicle needs gas. So these places are a target rich environment for predators. When you go shopping, the first concern is parking. Everyone, myself included, wants to park close to the doors. My reccomendation instead i...

CRIME and YOU

Since I brought the topic up in the other thread, I'll start it off. These are some observations I've found that are common to criminals and their victims. To keep the posts short enough to be readable, I plan on doing a few shorter posts over the next few days on a few different topics. Hopefully e...

Tunisia Sets Nationwide Curfew Amid Growing Unrest http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/23/world/middleeast/tunisia-curfew-unemployment.html?_r=0 Looks like there are other issues going on, too. it was related to the Libyan attempt because they find the unrest they try to use it as cover thinking that th...

Re: Tunisian Army

Hopefully the Libyans think twice about coming back across the border again. And I haven't forgotten about digging up some more photos from my time there. I will try to get them out this weekend if there's still an interest in them.

Re: Tunisian Army

I'll dig up a few more pics in the next few days when I get some time off of work. I have some of us doing a gear exchange, life in the base camp, and maybe some shots of roaming around in Bizerte. Here's another view of the several large boats that were beached where one of the other pics were tak...

Re: Tunisian Army

If these post, here is a few pics of when I was there. The gear I jumped in with, the wrecked ship at the range, and the grave marker for the tomb of the unknowns from WW2.

Re: Tunisian Army

Yeah, what he said. That's the place. (Sorry about butchering the name.) From what I recall, it was on the northern coast, near Bizerte and not too far from Tunis. Bizerte where Special Forces HQ located so i guess u was with Tunisian Special forces and when was that We cross trained with the Speci...

Re: Tunisian Army

From what I recall, the lizard pattern was extremely effective in the Cap Surrat area. I seem to recall lots of purple and reddish tinted mud and rocks, along with green vegetation and sand. I don't recall the guys we worked with wearing the solid green uniforms of woodland pattern, but they did wa...

Re: Tunisian Army

As far as the camo, the new stuff definitely looks like it would work better from what I remember. Some where here in my attic I have an uniform from my time there. It wasn't the all green one though, it was a mix of colors. It almost looked like the British disrupted pattern, medium.

Re: Biased article or accurate?

To go along with the above sentiments, consider this: New laws making anything illegal only work on part of the population. The part of the population that follows the law. That means that Pookie the gang banger is going to continue ignoring the laws saying he can't sell crack, can't rape everything...
