Re: Introduction - Matthew

That sucks but a week or two compared to what you've been waiting on is nothing... It moves slow until all of a sudden it doesn't so stay ready.

Re: Introduction - Matthew

I would imagine you will need proof of graduation from high school or college transcript to enlist. Don't take my word for it. Plenty of time to work through everything. If you have to wait try to keep up with additional school work or like you said, do more PT. Just as well you got some time over t...

Re: Introduction - Connor

Hello Rangers, Connor, Glad you were able to find ArmyRanger.com. How did you find this website? This is a smaller community, so if your Dad served around/with/as a Ranger there is a really good chance someone I know or someone here knows them, even if they are "old" even to me... which now I'm old...

Rangers, Thank you, Ry Ry, Missed your post the other day when I checked in... I missed several unfortunately. Glad to hear you were able to get a contract for what you wanted. Now comes the time to do it... Check in when you can and create a "Letters From School" topic. There is another 68W that i...

Rangers, I got my orders today to 25th ID Schofield Barracks Hawaii, when I get there my main 2 goals will be to get my EIB and get a chance to go to Ranger School Excellent place to get your first duty station. There are a number of Ranger leaders who go out there. Learn, get better, come back and...

Medics have the longest journey to service in the Regiment out of all of us by far... Excited for you to finally be able to get to work. Hopefully we can link up again before you head out to whichever BN you get to go to.

Re: Thoughts of a holdover

Just an update for y’all, I’ve been off profile for two weeks. I’m still having pain in my shins but I’m powering through it, but I’m also taking care of my body the best I can. We go on block leave in just a few days and I’m gonna return refreshed and ready to jump into the fire. Sounds good, Ty. ...

Hey Dagger,

Really awesome that all these years later you decided to come back and see us. Apologize it took a few days to get to you to say hello... Curse and a blessing of using forums I guess!

I'm also at Bragg. So feel free to PM me anytime.

Glad you got your contract sorted. Obviously not exactly what you wanted but at least there are options there for you to still get your chance! Update your signature next time you are here. I updated your rank and permissions as well as giving you access to the Mentoring Zone since you've been so ac...

Great scores. Thereis another person on this site and in discord with your ship date. Link up here or send me a message on Discord or on ArmyRanger.com if you need help. Also, get yourself into the mentoring zone and figure it out. Great work so far, but this is the easy part. Don't fail because you...

Rangers, I have completed the 22 week infantry training. We finished FTX last Sunday and also did the honor hill ceremony. We are on recovery till Dec 18 and Dec 19-20 is graduation. After that I go on a 10 day block leave. Which I like, because it will give me time to recover, and start pre-rasp f...

Have you self administered an APFT yet? If not I'd recommend you do that and report your scores as soon as is feasible.

Hello Rangers, Another update: Still on the path. College will be starting in a couple of weeks and I'm looking forward to it! I've been working full time since getting back from ALERT in early October and staying in shape. Speaking of that, has anyone here done any Go-Ruck events? I'm looking at p...
