There are guys like that. My experience has been that the heavier guys don't make it. Long distance runners and swimmers do. There may be exceptions. In any case, you've gotta want it.

Dittos on the previous message. I've cut undergarmets off of troops in the field as their balls swelled. It's a NO GO.

I truly don't know how many times you have. I suppose that's up to the cadre. I know guys that were recycled for medical reasons, and failure to get a GO on 50% of their patrols. I know of one guy that was there six months before he got his tab. I'll say this: Don't get a slot and come back to Batt ...
