Beautiful series. When I was in Normandy, a museum had some letters of Maj. Dick Winters. Very impressive to read something personal like that, after reading the book and watching the series over and over again.

I don't know if it is what you're searching for, but at www.operationmilitarypride.org you can request an address of a deployed military (DM). They respond very soon.
I've got an address from there too (I'm just writing my second letter :) )
