Re: Just Another FNG

Found out about this site from EarthPig and knowing that EP, Steadfast, & others over here I know it has class. Enough of the gaggin & stomach turning. I am a proud citizen soldier and a member of a OIF2 deployed LRSD, I am not Ranger Qualified (perhaps one day) and have never served with t...

Thank you Ranger Lugnuttz for your answer. If I may ask for clarification, do those officers serve in a staff capacity, or would they be leading a detachement of MOS-related enlisted soldiers? or both? At what rank do they attain service at BN or RGT? do you see any 2LT's or just 1LT's and above? W...

I've seen MI, signal, field artillery, medical, chemical, and chaplains at the battalion level. Don't know if there are any additional branches at the regimental level.

I was refering to how rucking while the weight is pulling you backwards could cause shoulder/back/or spinal injures? Listen bud, it's weight, on your back.. that wasn't really meant to be there. If it's pulling you backwards, you need to man the fuck up and lean foward some. Either that, or start g...

I remember going through Pre-Ranger course in my unit. It was 5 weeks long and it was much harder (since it was all recon and the sergeants were all Rangers or/and served under the ranger bat. at one time or another) than RIP. RIP was 7-95 - though the humidity and exercises were tough, it wasn't a...

Having to take medication for depression is a no-go. You will not be accepted. The stress that is put on students throughout RIP then when they graduate and head of to a Ranger Batt, then attending Ranger school requires top physical and mental health. Your mental condition is detrimental to missio...

Well, h8train's on the case, if he gets off the computer doing duty hours, I'm sure that will change! It's not the RIP cadres fault. These fucksticks aren't getting trained for shit in the IET phase (too busy at the PX or on the computer). I imagine these guys being way worse when they fi...

Let's see.... I was in C-1/19.......1990 I didn't EVER get to go to the PX by myself......a lot of the times, only the platoon (trainee) PSG got to go.....If we did get to go, we were ONLY allowed toiletries...no candy, no magazines, nothing...soap and kiwi. And we fucking marched the whole time, a...

Im with Gronk. Ranger School is, for all intents and purposes, a Leadership School of magnitude. I have sent E-5's, 6's to Ranger School through the National Guard. If they made it, I got back NCO's who were streamlined, get the job done, take no shit from anyone, leaders. Much as I love the segreg...

They're not talking about low density MOS from battalion or RTB, but support fuckers attached to any infantry unit. I'm a support MOS, but I payed my dues in battalion. Whats going to end up happening is any leg support fuck who scores a 300 on his PT test is going to get a shot. All this equals is ...

Thanks for the congrats. I'm headed back to Benning for BRM week. On Monday, we're due to find out if we get leave or go straight for in-processing. I know I'm lucky to have my wife! She's been really supportive and it's made a big difference in getting this far. BTW, I knocked out those PU's for y...

You dumbass, H2 was cleared by an 12 man team from a unit that wishes to remain nameless. Don't talk about shit you don't know anything about.
