Re: Sitrep- Ange

Sorry for the delay in an update Rangers, the site has been really buggy on my phone. Getting back into the gym has been nice, the facility here is really great, hopefully I can get some more time with a PT but who knows. Gonna be a busy year at my unit with JFO and ESB coming up plus training rotat...

Re: Sitrep- Ange

Rangers, after a little setback I have completed my 5 jumps and am set to graduate on Friday. My first and my fourth (which was at night) were especially memorable. I unfortunately wasn’t the no. 1 jumper in my stick but was always the no. 2 guy. Looking out of the door is an amazing experience. Air...

Re: Sitrep- Ange

Ranger BlueLiner, I’m in holdover until further notice (Cadre think till possibly January). Due to how in demand 13F’s are right now due to abysmal class sizes, RASP slots are pretty easy to obtain. I still haven’t decided as to where I want to go. The 173rd slot is VERY tempting but I joined to be ...

Re: Sitrep- Ange

Rangers, happy to report that I’ve completed all academic requirements for AIT and only have a 12 mile ruck with a 4 hr deadline standing between me and graduation. I should be leaving here mid-late November to start the BAC. I’m still undecided on which path I want to take going forward. However, I...

Re: Sitrep- Ange

Ranger BlueLiner, sorry for the delay. Re: Sitrep- Ange

Rangers, AIT is going well. The atmosphere here is way better than BCT. A lot of people here have Special Operations as a goal, specifically Ranger Regiment so we spend a lot of free time quizzing each other out of our handbooks or Quizlet. Quizlet is great, plenty of flashcards for RASP. Got my ACF...

Re: Sitrep- Ange

Rangers, graduated BCT this Thursday and arrived at Ft. Sill on Saturday morning at around 5 AM. Basic is just as I expected, generally pretty low motivation and a ton of shit bags. Luckily, found a couple motivated 68W dudes trying to get to SOCM to grind with. Definitely utilize time in reception ...

Sitrep- Ange

I am sitting at the MEPs hotel right now. Not feeling that bummed out anymore, just anxious. This has been said a million times by people in my position but I'll say it again take advantage of your time in the DEP. It will fly by and before you know it you'll be waking up on your ship date. Also tak...

Re: Introduction - Angelo

Ranger IntelToad, it has been an eventful couple weeks to say the least. Feels weird being so close to shipping and knowing that my time screwing around in the woods with my buddies is over. That being said I wouldn't trade this opportunity for the world. PT wise, I've lowered intensity a bit to giv...

Re: Introduction - Angelo

Ranger BlueLiner, sorry for the delay. I thought it would be better to wait until I visited the doctor to post my SITREP. Today I visited a local chiropractor regarding my feet. He realized almost immediately one of my lower lumbar, ankles, and my hips were completely misaligned and adjusted them. H...

Re: Introduction - Angelo

Rangers, today my station conducted our APFT for promotion. Pu: 43 Su: 55 Run: 17:18 Pullups: 12 I don't even know what to say about these results other than I'm disappointed. All of my pushups, pullups, and sit ups were counted, I guess I just didn't have it today. Our run was on gravel, which is w...

Re: Introduction - Angelo

Rangers, after talking with some of you privately I decided to listen to my PT and take a couple weeks off my feet. I've been given a good recovery workout to supplement running that should strengthen my feet as well as my calves and quads. However, I am still keeping up with my usual workouts. Desp...

Re: Introduction - Angelo

Ranger boscounderfoot, to start I am 5'5 and 143 pounds. I track my weight twice a week, usually Wednesday and Sunday. As for my workout program, I use an amalgamation of workouts from Ranger Silverback, the Rangers at Cronusfit, and the official RASP prep guide. The day-to-day consists of either a ...
