There is no thing as an accidental discharge anymore. People are dying in IRAQ because of NEGLIGENT discharges. There is no excuse be disciplined.

Nickname

Try to figure out where I got my nicknames "Loggerhead", "U.S.S. Wreckingballhead"

Hint: Look under Minor Mayhem "What an Honor"

I get a kick out of imagining what some of the Rangers I served with in 3rd platoon would be like on that show. I think they wouldn't last long because if there is beer involved they would have started a cache and defended it to the death. Also, I'm sure the chicks would definitely have to watch the...

You know as I recall there was plenty of bitchin in Battalion between rangers about situations and higher authority. But that was as far as it went. If a Batt Boy ever said anything like that in a public forum or outside of the unit he would have had his nuts on the chopping block and would have bee...

Good luck and no one can make you quit except yourself. If you won't and don't get hurt you'll make it.

Way to go! Don't sign anything you don't want. They'll come up with a contract for you if you are patient and stubborn. It's alot easier to get it now than later. At least if you sign an option 40 contract your going to get a shot and then it's all on you and your desire.

Jumping In!

Just entering the fray. I came in when there were only two battalions. Went through 2/75 RIP (the hardest thing I ever did). Way harder than Ranger school. (Anyone else remember it that way?) Went to 1st squad third Platoon A Co.. Back when it was jungles, 550 cord for boot laces, jump wings on the ...

Earth Pigs

I was in third platoon 82-85 and they must have been given the nickname Earth Pigs after that time frame. I went to the ranger rendezvous in Ft. Lewis in or around 97? That is when I first learned of the new nickname. SFC Hydrakahn (sp?) was the PSG and now CSM Roberts was the 1SG. When I was in our...
