Re: SEAL, who shot Bin Laden, speaks out.
I was having this discussion with my wife.. The protection thing, thats way over my pay grade, I suppose I never gave it much thought but in a way it makes sense. The problem I have is the media of course and the Shooter as well. Everything I saw when this broke was that he was busted up, unemployed...

I did not come up with the name but its the combination of Beef Meat Balls ( Moo) and Bacon ( Oink). If your a practicing Muslim, probably not a good appetizer for you. Some of you had these at the Ranch over Memorial Day. This is an easy appetizer sure to please even the most discerning palete. Wel...

Re: Introduction from Rockin Ranger
Hello, fellow Rangers. I'm pleased to have found your drama-free, secure site. I served in Attack Co, 1st/75th from 10/1985 to 2/1987 in Skeletor's platoon. I'm hoping to find some of my Ranger buddies and re-connect with a community of people who understand the mentality of Sua Sponte. I've been o...

Whatever it is, I'm hoping there are no bonus packages available, since you've babbled about that priority twice. While there is certainly nothing wrong with taking something the Army is offering a bit of situational awarness is at times needed.
Use your degree to figure the rest out.
Good luck.

Re: On orders to 6th RTB
Not much of an intro, I suppose that is why no one posted anything. Well, its Thanksgiving time so if your still lurking around, I'll help. Your a supply clerk going to 6th RTB at Eglin Air Force Base..you have pretty much hit the lotto. The area is great, the beaches are beautiful, low crime, etc. ...

Re: Introduction
I will say what I have told the others, start inquiring about that Option 40 now as the process can be lengthy. Also know that if you graduate college they will probably press you about OCS. There are many threads here about this and the pros and cons to each. With regards to fitness, people who cou...

Re: Introduction & Question?
I would recommend you start as soon as possible. History has shown this can, at times, be a lenghty process. If the Option 40 is what you want, you don't sign anything until thats what the contract says. Fall not for the chicanery that can at times be recruiters. If you sign up for anything but that...

Here is hoping that you've gotten it all out of your system. Do you drink beer, dip copenhagen and favor women of ill repute? If you want to go the road you say you do, stay away from the OCS route, you can always become an officer later. The road will be much longer to get there if you do not. I'm ...
