Re: SITREP - CCJ
Roger Ranger Jim, For anyone who's coming here soon or wants to know more about it, I'll share my experiences and thoughts. First of all, it's very easy, an average day here consists of PT in the morning, details throughout the day, and then you get released around 1500 roughly. Pre-RASP is a great ...

Re: SITREP - CCJ
Airborne school is now completed and I'll be heading to Pre-RASP on Tuesday. I had some rough landings but jump week was still an awesome experience. Every time I'm standing next to that door listening to the C-17 engines roar my knees got shaky but I was able to stay focused on my training and walk...

SITREP - CCJ
Rangers, I'm a little late on this SITREP and I apologize for that but here I am and I will definitely keep this up to date as this website has helped me out tremendously. I graduated from OSUT in late April and that was an awesome experience. We got smoked quite a bit and I was expecting to get in ...

Re: 7 Easy Steps to Pass Any SOF Selection
Roger, Ranger rangerjd, Ranger Slowpoke, and Ranger Jim. It seems as if this article is no longer existing, I tried as I hard as I could to find it on that website but I had no luck. I found another article titled, '7 Easy Steps That Guarantee You To Pass Any SOF Selection' but I'm assuming it's not...

Re: Digging Deep - Need Advice On Motivation
From my experience/view point, motivation is just a temporary thing- she needs more discipline. I think motivation is kind of like a fire, it's there and it's good but it'll eventually go away. Some days will absolutely suck and training will be the last thing you'd ever want to do- do it anyways. I...

Re: The Workout Thread
I decided that I'll give a little update on my scores, I took the 2-2-2 PFT with my recruiters yesterday and it went pretty well. Push Ups: 64 Sit Ups: 85 2 Mile Run: 11:47 There was no pull up bar where I was so I couldn't assess them but once I got home (about 3 hours after the PFT) I completed 12...

Re: Introduction: Chandler
Welcome to the site, Chandler. Your APFT scores need a lot of work. You have very little time to get prepared before you leave, but if you are motivated and work hard you should be able to improve quite a bit before you leave. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit! RL...

Introduction: Chandler
My name is Chandler, I'm 19 years old, and I'm currently living in Minnesota. I've recently enlisted into the Army as 11x and I was lucky enough to snag an Option 40 into my contract. I'm shipping out 20160112 and I couldn't be more fired up! I have countless reasons why I want to be a Ranger but I'...
