My current plans to obtain an OP40 are as follows, When I return to MEPS I am going to ask if any Airborne or OP40 DEP losses occured giving me the chance of gaining the slot. If I fail the...

Re: Introduction- Chase

I saw another DEPr on here with a ship date one day before mine for 11x.
I can't seem to find him now if anyone could point me in the right direction I would like to connect with him prior to shipping. Thank you.

Re: Introduction- Chase

Yes, JamesJ207 I believe that is the case. Which is very beneficial to me, National Guard are also excluded, as well as low PT scores. I feel that earning a 300+ PT score along with these other factors will give me good chances of earning an OP40 in OSUT. However, I am going to try still to obtain a...

Re: Introduction- Chase

Ranger Jim, I have continued my PT and have improved my score a total of 8 points since the OP I had two friends return from BCT, so I made sure to pick their brains about it. I am not seeing any progress in receiving my OP40 prior to shipping. Something I forgot to mention in my previous posts is t...

Re: SITREP - Campo

I don't want to overstep any boundaries here as a lowly DEP'r,
But this was very painful for me to read.
You clearly demonstrated you do not want to serve in the 75th.
By you getting a second chance, You take that spot from someone who IS committed to their goal.

Someone like myself.

Re: Introduction- Chase

I attempted to go through another recruiter here once all the friction started up. I came to find out that that recruiting station, along with all others in the outlying area run all operations through the "mother" station which happened to be where i started out... if it would be worth it...

Re: Introduction- Chase

I suppose that my biggest issue right now is that I do not know what cards I have, as I have already signed the 11x contract. My recruiters will not return my calls or text messages, So an appointment is currently out of the question. I am going to stop by the recruiting station and hope I can catch...

Re: Introduction- Chase

Roger ,Ranger gRavepc and Ranger Cams.
I'm from Kern County, Bakersfield.
And yes I truly want to serve with the 75th Ranger Regiment.
Most of my recruiters think that an OP40 sends you to Ranger school,
They do not seem to grasp that it sends you to RASP, making things more difficult.
