SITREP: Logan

Rangers and Mentee's, I graduated BCT at Ft. Leonard Wood on April 24th and my AIT was located here as well so I started AIT the following week. As an older guy (29) it's been quite an adjustment, to say the least. My advice during basic would be not to actively seek recognition, put your head down,...

Re: Introduction: Logan

As was pointed out, I'm a recruiter in Regiment. To go further, 12 series and Leonard Wood are in my AO. I WILL be tracking you; I track every RASP candidate in my AO and talk with their PSGs and cadre. I will answer your PM in a bit. I'm busy right now. Roger, Ranger Darth_Ted_82, Look forward to ...

Re: Introduction: Logan

Roger, Ranger Cams, my apologies. Flutter kicks will be performed along with my Push-ups.

Ranger, Darth_ted_82, based on my AIT timeline I would guess my AIT graduation date is somewhere around the beginning of September.

Re: Introduction: Logan

Probably one of the wisest posts directly above mine from someone who knows first hand, has something in common with you and is current. I would suggest you read it again several times and make sure what Ranger Grim is saying, sinks in completely. Then, take a step back and give it some thought. If...

Re: Introduction: Logan

Rangers, I officially swore in last week. It feels great to have it all in writing. I'm working on my task list and keeping up with PT. I'll update as I progress more. Fix your ship date and pay attention to detail.....always. Sometimes, it's the little things that get you maimed or killed. Even wo...

Re: Introduction: Logan

Ranger Centermass, I agree with you completely. I'm 100% on my decision to become a 12Y in the Ranger Regiment. My decision is unwavering. I've addressed to Ranger grim666 through a PM much of what he addressed. I do know what a 12Y does does, in fact, I've researched every bit of information I'm ab...

Re: Introduction: Logan

Ranger Lefty, You're concerns are warranted and I appreciate your response. Without knowing me and reading my background I can see your viewpoint and why you'd be concerned. At this point in my life I see that my choices have led me to be exactly where I want to be and finally knowing what I want to...

Introduction: Logan

Hey Rangers, (I'm hoping this is the right place to post first) My name is Logan, I'm 29, married with 3 kids. I have my spot reserved as a 12Y with option 40 and am waiting on my dependency waiver to go through. As of now, I'm shipping in February barring anything going wrong. My AIT is 18 weeks lo...
