Re: Intro - Jon (BCMMidlength)

PerryB and Ranger Ron, I understand your reaction completely and like I said I feel bad about it myself. Up until recently honestly I've done fuck all in the means of cardio and I feel about dead at the end of a 2 mile run. My weight is fine, I'm 186 pounds at 6 feet or so, but my endurance is garba...

Re: Intro - Jon (BCMMidlength)

An update. I decided not to take my oath. I feel like shit about it but I'm not quitting, the goal is still very, very real. I've decided to wait a while. Right now I think I'm physically capable of being a Ranger, but I want to make damn sure I'm a PT stud before I take any oaths and ship out to OS...

Big Update:

I got my contract today. 11x Option 40. I go to MEPs this monday and my ship date is 20141112

I'm excited as hell but I'm trying my best to keep my sights on the 25m target.

Re: Intro - Jon (BCMMidlength)

Roger, Ranger Jim. I've since filled out a bunch of packets and forms I can't remember the name of. Currently no Opt. 40 contracts available so I'm just gonna have to wait it out and brush off the recruiters attempts to BS me. At any rate, it gives me more time to get into shape.

Re: Intro - Jon (BCMMidlength)

Roger, Ginger and Ranger Ron, both messages have been read and replied to. Thank you. I stopped by the recruiting office today and had a talk with a recruiter. I told him I was not going to enlist until I got an Opt. 40 contract. He's going to pull my SASVAB scores and call me within the next couple...

Re: Intro - Jon (BCMMidlength)

Roger that, CharlieRanger1FFV. I'm starting my APFT Improvement routine today. I've called off work today and I'm going to the recruiting office, hopefully there will be an Opt. 40 slot available. Will report back.

Roger, Ranger Jim. I'm working at my PT scores. I took note of the improvement thread earlier and I will start that routine tomorrow.

Intro - Jon (BCMMidlength)

Hello, my name is Jon and I'm from the lovely albeit very rural eastern panhandle of West Virginia. I'm a fresh high school graduate and I work on a farm that raises and grows turkey, cattle, corn, and hay. I've been into guns since I was just a pup. I got my first gun when I was 12 and I've been co...
