Finished Airborne School

Rangers,
I graduated Airborne school on March 17th. It felt like a long wait to get there (5 weeks in Airbonre hold at Sand Hill), but when I first got to jump out of that plane I realized it had all been worth it. We got to watch to watch Band of Brothers one of the days we waited in the shed and ...

Ranger Earthpig, I could not get Option 40 because I don't have citizenship yet. I'm going in as 11x/ABN. I'm trying to get my citizenship paperwork to go through while I'm in OSUT so that I can volunteer for RIP at the end of Airborne Training.

Shipping Out

I head off tomorrow for OSUT. I wanted to say thanks to all the Rangers and everyone else on here.
I have received advice, lessons in respect and responsibility, and encouragement that I consider invaluable - and I know I'm a better person for it.
I will give SITREPS when I can.
I won't disappoint ...

Ranger AbnRgr289,
My apology was directed towards everyone on the site. It was disrespectful to you, all the Rangers, Veterans, and anyone else on this board who loves the United States. My apologies to everyone it offended.

I have nothing but the greatest of love and patriotism for the United States which I now consider my home in every way and I do my best to do my part for the country. I take offense when anyone implies that I do anything less (ie Illegal Immigrant). I replied jokingly in an attempt to lighten the ...

Suprisingly enough, we "Illegal Immigrants" can do all kinds of things... We're sneaky like that! It was more a case of realizing that after years of letting you Americans play around doing it your own way, its about time we British came back in and sorted you all out again. :D Which requires a ...

I was lucky enough to meet Ranger IntelToad and hear alot of great stories and advice. I wanted to pass along to all the other DEPs how much it made me realize what an amazing opportunity we have to be able to go in and have these kinds of experiences. Anyone of us DEPs who blows the chance to go ...

Ranger Kilted Heathen,
I apologize. You made yourself very clear. I told ggamecrazy the same advice you had given me and told him to ask me if he had any questions and that he and I would work through the process together. I stupidly on my part assumed that he already understood the rules of the ...

Ranger Kilted Heathen,
I mailed out the completed N-400 and G-325B today to Vermont. I then went down to the recruiters office to take the ASVAB. After an hour and half drive each way i got to the testing centre to find that it was closed today and the recruiters office had not known. I sat down and ...

Ranger Kilted Heathen, I forgot to ask...

-Does the G-325-b get mailed along with my N400?

-Do I mail my N400 to Mesquite, Texas regardless of where I live? I only ask because when I was looking up the addresses for mailing, it said that Pennsylvania residents should send their applications to ...
