Over $10,000 Donated and Going Strong!
Wow! I just got off the phone with the Warrior Foundation. Dow said we've successfully raised over $10,000! We're now officially past the half way mark to funding our first scholarship by raising over $20,000. Not bad huh? Thanks for all the support from everyone here. You've done a great job gettin...

Sounds like a schools NCO issue to me... I'm always amazed when people tell me they can't get a slot to MFFJM...it's unusual for us to have a full course. If you can get the unit to take the risk and cut you orders, 9 times out of 10, ALL stand bys get in. I'm sure you know the MFF Basic Course is a...

GET SELECTED FOR SPECIAL FORCES
Are you looking for answers how to prepare for Special Forces Training? I know how you feel. Here's why... When I was preparing for SF Assessment & Selection (SFAS), I felt the same way when looked for a book to help me prepare. There wasn't one. Lots of stuff about SF and the history. Nothing o...

The best way to stretch your calf is to stand with your toes on a curb and your heel on the street and lean into it. Another way is to get into a push up position, th...

BLISTERS
Blisters come from two contributing factors. If it was a math formula, it might look like this: MOISTURE + FRICTION = BLISTERS Minimize or eliminate friction and moisture and you minimize your chances of blisters. Moisture comes from external (rain, swamp, etc) and internal (sweat) sources. There ar...

There's more information available out there now. The booklet everyone is talking about is the same one I had to use when preparing for SFAS in 1995. Since then, we compiled a thorough resource guide called GET SELECTED FOR SPECIAL FORCES . There are a lot of books on SF History, a few even talk abo...

This is the same handbook I got when I was preparing for SFAS in 1995. It's a good outline (skeleton), but there's no meat on it. In fact, it's the reason we wrote GET SELECTED FOR SPECIAL FORCES . If you haven't heard of it, check out your clothing sales store or www.warrior-mentor.com. JM P.S. ALL...
