Saw the new class here doing the Malvesti when I got back to Rogers to turn my shit back in.
One time is enough for this guy.

My progress thus far - Affirm
I classed up Ranger Class 04-14 on 02FEB2014. As of Today, I am on my 8 hour pass and am moving forward onto Mountains tomorrow. Darby was definitely an interesting experience. I can't say I have ever operated on avg 2 hours of sleep per night until now, and 2 mres per day. You definitely learn a lo...

Re: HELP APPRECIATED!
I came to this site for some advice from some real Rangers. It seems as though I've only found some guys behind computers trying to be all hooah hooah. Anyways, I can become a Ranger like you. Anyone can. It just matters how much you want it. And trust me, I want it. I respect that you guys are Ran...

Re: The Workout Thread
Bronco, I'm in no position to tell you what to do but I recommend using either the "Push Up Improvement" or the "APFT Improvement" threads created by Ranger Silverback. I've been using the "APFT Imrovement" thread for a couple weeks and it is proving to be quite effect...

Re: Physical fitness routine want suggestions on changes.
Running measures two things: Cardiovascular capability and lower body muscle endurance.
What are you lacking? Do you suck cardio wise and get winded or do your legs burn out?
What is your height/weight currently?

Re: Physical fitness routine want suggestions on changes.
Who says you can't lift heavy weights? Dude I am a fucking meathead. I lift heavy all the time and live that "get big" lifestyle and I still crush my PT tests. You simply need to have some endurance with the strength.

I have respect for your Firefighter background. Not too long ago I was in a similar position (Firefighter/EMT) and walk the path you now seek to follow.
For that reason, if there is something I can help you with, do not hesitate to PM me.

Self-administered APFT: 20131205 Push-ups: 30 Sit-ups: 67 2 mile run: 12:00 Pull-ups: 7 Score: 182/300 (failed) My scores absolutely suck! I need to get my butt in gear if I plan to make it through RASP, let alone stay in the Regiment. You owe me another PT test. Try not to be such a weakling on pu...

Not like it matters other than a little more money. You will be a miserable little private until (and if) you get a Ranger Tab when and if you make it to Ranger Batt.

Re: SITREP - Boziman
Excellent. Your experiences with sick call somewhat mirror some of my own when I was where you are. I was that stubborn, hard charger private as well. Pisses you off to be told you can't do something, doesn't it? Remember to always calculate the risk vs benefit however.
