Re: Filming and Streaming Best Ranger Competition 2011 - Liv
Ranger DangerClose, Thank you for all you have done and are doing for the competition. The Best Ranger Competition site looks phenomenal. I just spent awhile browsing through it and admiring the work. I explored some web design in high school so I have some idea of how hard it can be to run a websit...

Just remember that losing, quitting, and surrender is un-American.

Re: Ranger Intel Community
I am also considering doing Military Intelligence after (hopefully) serving some time in the Infantry. I am also seeking information about the role of Military Intelligence officers in the Regiment.

Branch Detail Program
For those who do not know, this link sums it up pretty well. http://www.almc.army.mil/alog/issues/MayJun01/MS651.htm Just wanted to open up a conversation about the program. Is there anyone here who has experienced this in one way or another? It seems like a good program to better our officers in th...

Re: Help with APFT Scores
Here are my PT Scores from earlier. Push Ups: 53 Sit Ups: 73 2 Mile: 1509 Definitely nothing to hang your hat on but it will be a good starting point. I am going to run today and do the Push Up workout I found on this site. Don't misconstrue my words here. I am not telling you not to do PT. However...

Any Rangers here willing to translate that into a Ranger version? One that really punches us non-Rangers in the gut and make us feel like total shitbags

Re: Help with APFT Scores
The hour and a half are the PT sessions run by the ROTC department. They fill up the hour and a half with short exercises. We will run for a little while, then do some push ups and sit ups and then we will do dips. It sounds good, but the limited time frame makes it almost not worth it. I currently...

Re: Help with APFT Scores
Ranger Baseplate,
I will run today and try to run at least 6 miles. Should I mostly concentrate on long runs or switch them up with interval runs as well?

RangerX,
I will definitely commit that to memory. I have a PT Test in two days. Would you recommend doing a long run (3-5 miles) tonight or the next day?

Re: Help with APFT Scores
There is a 50 page thread on the work out of the day where you could start or would you like me to just do the fucking push ups for you Ranger Baseplate, Thanks for pointing it out. I did not notice it before. I will certainly take a look and possibly add some to my workouts. To all others, The thr...

Help with APFT Scores
Hello all, If you read my intro, you would know that I am currently a ROTC cadet at the MS1 level. My best PT test score I had was the one we took in December 2010, so about 3 months ago. These, to the best of my memory, were the scores: Push Ups: 58 Sit Ups: 71 Run: 15:15 Even I can admit that thos...
